In this phase I realized I needed to go back to the analysis to clear out certain elements. I have to ask myself again, what am I doing?
My aim is to design a clinical skills learning program that allows all students to reflect on their performance with aid of videos as well as get feedback on their return demonstration from the instructor.
As I kept on going back, my ideas became more clear. I have drafted the pre-requites into the program, which however are not too restrictive. Some students don't have the required cellphones, so they can work in pairs or threes since they have to vedio tape each other. Personal computers and computers in the lab will be used for transfer of data.............
Ah I am almost getting carried away. I have found the design phase interesting and inspiring. It also made it clear to me that my program is just taking blending learning of clinical skills to a higher level. I can see the light....
sounds great Taka. Do you intend to try it out during this module or will you just do the planning phase now?
ReplyDeleteIts only planning for now, I think we are late into the year now
ReplyDeleteI think you are on the right track
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Taka you are on the right track. It often happens that we realise that something has been left out of the analysis and have to return to it. Trust me, that's normal. It is a good idea to get the students to work in groups, you may want to reference some of the benefits of collaborative learning.
